Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle

The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle works to ensure a vibrant Jewish community that is connected locally, in Israel and worldwide.

The Jewish Federation raises and distributes funds through its annual Community Campaign for projects and programs that fit within one of four Impact Areas:

Helping Our Local Community in Need
Strengthening Global Jewry
Experiencing Judaism: Birth to Grade 12
Building Jewish Community: Post Grade 12

The Jewish Federation directly operates Sustaining Community programs, including:

Government Affairs - Advocating for key issues of interest to the Jewish community
SAFE Washington - Securing the Jewish community from natural and human-caused dangers
Education Services - Professional development for Jewish educators, and support for Jewish camping and Israel experiences
PJ Library - High-quality children's books with Jewish content
Teen Philanthropy - Giving young people opportunities to begin lives of philanthropy
